After a thorough clinical examination, including examination of the teeth, gums, jaw relationships, jaw joints and soft tissues you will be given a recommended course of treatment, alternatives that are available and an estimate of the cost. Where appropriate visual aids and photographs will be used to help explain the treatment.


A proportion of the population will inevitably suffer from gum disease, a further proportion can avoid this with necessary advice on cleaning and regular scaling. Karen Malloy and Linda Forsyth, our very experienced hygienists are skilled at maintaining vulnerable mouths in a healthy condition.

Hygienist Services

Both of our experienced hygienists Karen Malloy and Linda Forsyth work under direct access and are happy to carry out hygiene without the need to see a dentist first. They offer air polishing and scaling under various forms of anaesthesia from ordinary local anaesthetic to surface anaesthesia and Oraquix.


Advice is given to prevent any deterioration of teeth, restorations or soft tissues.

Maintenance Care

Regular examinations; cleaning of teeth; ongoing repair work.


Fillings (tooth coloured where appropriate), inlays; root treatments; crowns.

Replacement of Teeth

Dentures; (full and partial); bridges; implants.

Cosmetic Treatment

Aesthetic smile design; tooth whitening; porcelain veneers; cosmetic fillings.


No clinician can be an expert in every field and we have links with specialists in the area to ensure that the best possible quality of treatment is achieved in all cases if it cannot be provided here.

Emergency Treatment

Time is allocated every day for emergency treatment, within normal surgery hours.


In certain situations treatment can be carried out in patients homes. Please ask for details.
